The Mojave Desert, a biologically diverse and extraordinarily scenic region of California, is a great place to learn more about the history of the region, go on an adventure, and see everything that this destination has to offer. The Mojave Desert may be dry, but the richness of its culture and the depth and breadth of its attractions make up for this weakness many times over, making it an ideal place to look at real estate and homes for sale. One attraction in the California Desert region is the Mojave River Valley Museum, which showcases scientific, historical, and cultural items of interests, while another is the Borax Visitor Center, home to one of the largest mineral deposits of Borax in the world. The Living Desert is probably the best way to experience the ecology of the Mojave Desert, as this attraction hosts nearly four hundred different animals and lush botanical gardens.
If the desert heat gets to you, drop by Knott’s Soak City USA, a water theme park in Palm Springs with more than sixteen acres of rides and attractions. The younger generation and the whole family can also learn about the environment of the desert by visiting the Children’s Discovery Center of the Desert, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. History, science, and culture aficionados will not be disappointed by what the Desert region has to offer; the Palm Springs Air Museum, the Palm Springs Desert Museum, and other sites are all dedicated to the promotion of artistic, scientific, and historical awareness. Pioneertown and Calico Ghost Town are also extraordinary destinations which showcase the old Western way of life.
