Each portion of Mexico’s Cabo San Lucas has something special to offer; everywhere on the Baja California peninsula is full of things to see and do. The East Cape of California Sur, however, is particularly renowned for its watersports and fishing expeditions. These activities can be enjoyed by not only visitors and tourists but also by prospective real estate investors and those looking at homes for sale. There are numerous fishing tournaments every year on the East Cape, including the East Cape Offshore Tournament, held during the summer months in pursuit of marlin and other big game. Those who don’t want to pursue their own meal on the open water can look for something to eat at one of the numerous restaurants on the East Cape, including Mexican, Italian, French, and international food as well as seafood, as well as excellent steak houses.
Eco-tourists can enjoy the Baja Safari Mexico Club, Pepe’s Dive Center, and Cabo Pulmo Eco-Tours, as well the readily viewable attractions along the East Cape’s
coastline. There are also numerous cultural events, ranging from whale watching and Candelmas celebrations to Constitution Day, Off-road races, and Cinco de Mayo. The East Cape also offers golfers several excellent courses up and down the coast and inland of the area. The white sandy beaches of East Cape are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, diving, and snorkeling, while the waters offshore are frequented not only by serious fishers but also by casual visitors looking for relaxation or adventure.
