The state of New Jersey is great for a weekend getaway, a casual stop on the drive up the Atlantic coast, or as a place to look at real estate and homes for sale. New Jersey has a great deal of its own attractions, from outdoor adventures and exploration to children’s activities and opportunities for relaxation. Six Flags Great Adventure is great for adding excitement to your day, as is the Borgata casino. The Steel Pier, the Point Pleasant Boardwalk and New Jersey Adventure Aquarium are more calming destinations, but no less interesting. You can cool off in Hurricane Harbor; culture yourself in the Princeton Art Museum, cruise past the Statue of Liberty, and stroll down the Funtown and Morey’s Piers. New Jersey is also home to Princeton University, which is currently ranked as the number one college in the nation and arguably the world, Liberty State Park, and Duke Farms.
The sports action of New Jersey is both wide ranging and readily available; from pro sports and minor leagues to auto and horse racing and college sports, there is no lack of excitement. While in New Jersey, drop by the Ocean Life Center, the Liberty Science Center, or the Space Farms Zoo and Museum to learn about ecological diversity and scientific advances. Drop by Historic Smithville, the Lakota Wolf Preserve, Cowtown Rodeo, or Stokes State Forest, where you can hike through the evergreen forest of Tillman Ravine. Also, Medieval Times Dinner, Wild West City, Turtle Back Zoo, the Camdens Children’s Garden, Clementon Amusement Park, Morris Museum, Liberty Hall Museum, Storybook Land, and the Land of Make Believe should all be on your agenda.
