Area Information
"Dreamlake" is not far from Tellico Plains, the Cherohala Skyway and the Cherokee National Forest with endless waterfalls, hiking trails and views. This part of SE Tennessee has been a largely undiscovered treasure, but that's starting to change. Demand is increasing for homes in gated communities on lakes. A nearby Tellico River project is also being developed and will feature half-million-dollar river condos, a golf course, new restaurants, shops and much more in Monroe County. This is just a great place to live!
Area Activities
The 60-acre lake offers swimming, fishing, and a public beach and picnic area for play and group activities. The road around the lake is great for bicycle rides and long walks, and nearby Tellico Plains is the gateway to the Cherohala Skyway and Cherokee National Forest. Also check out the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum, Ft, Loudon Historic Site, The Charles Hall Museum, the Lost Sea, gold panning in Coker Creek, the Trail of Tears, and dozens of arts and crafts shops and galleries.
